The Department of Basic Education has released the final exam timetable following the need to change the previous dates due to the voting that will be taking place on Wednesday the 1st of November 2021. This follows after the Constitutional Court dismissed the IEC’s postponement application on Friday and ruled that the vote be conducted between 27 October and 1 November.
The new date for voting directly affected the previously set dates for the Matric exams as most of the schools are used as voting stations. The final timetable sets the dates for the final exams with Mathematics Paper 1 being written on Friday the 5th of November 2021 including Mathematics Literacy Paper 1 and Technical Mathematics Paper 1.
Mathematics Paper 2 will be written on Monday the 8th of November 2021. Physical Science and Technical Sciences Paper 1 and 2 will be written on Friday the 12th of November and Monday 15th of November.
